Areall has worked as project management consultants on the development of Madrid Gate 1 Logistics Centre during 2021 and 2022 for one of the most relevant logistics developers, Goodman. We have successfully coordinated all the necessary actors involved in the development in order to deliver a fully operational building to be used as the Iberian Peninsula Headquarters and Cross dock hub for one of Europe's leading logistics operators, GLS.

The centre comprises 33,000 m2 of gross floor area on a 75,000 m2 plot in Ciudad Pegaso, on Madrid's Eje A-2. Areall has also been involved in advising on obtaining all the necessary licences for the operation of the centre. This has been a very important milestone in order to have the building operational for the most important months for the logistics sector.

This facility is part of Goodman's ambitious project to revitalise a set of industrial plots of more than 168,000 m2 in Ciudad Pegaso that were in disuse. The new Madrid Gate 1 Logistics Centre features innovative and sustainable facilities *and is located* in close proximity to the city's main consumer centres.
